Wow, those pics have got me ripped. This will be the best $550.00 I've spent on a arf in a while. It's been a long time since I've gotten this excited over a scale model. Cliff, you have created a masterpiece. I hope the rest of the industry takes note.

Reyn3545, If their still in production now, I don't think Santa will be able to drop one off in Ga. and NC. Although, Cliff just might have a Gulfstream............. Mabey? It will be worth the wait whenever we do get them. Thats for sure.

Regards

I forgot to ask you in my previous post Cliff. What model of Van's RV is that hanging in your shop?

Reyn I have been waiting as you know for a year. In talking to Cliff he alerted me as Winston Churchill said It is the beginning of the end! of the waiting. However
I can say this, as disapointing as waiting may be ,Cliff will deliver a fine near perfect product. near perfect since you guy's will tell him that it did not match a variant of the Baron only you know. While that is possible ,I will fly mine untill I need a new set of tires. I hope to get mine soon but i trust Kaltag as he seems interested in satisfying his customers ,a rare attitude. Note he is talking about a King Air for Seff oh god what to sell to make room. If you get to Tennessee go to the Beech Heritage museum not for Barons but Staggerwings and other swell aircraft to see, near Nashville. Seasons grettings to you all and I await my Baron each day it is a pleasure knowing the wow factor. You know I played with the prototype at Seff last year and I am hooked. Regards to all my Baron friends ,Bif

Yep, I know Christmas is a pipe dream, but I thought maybe a vision of a big empty space under a tree would create a soft spot in Cliff's heart!

I bought a used Waco to tide me over for until the Baron arives... and went back to glow fuel (of all things) to power it... a Saito 450 3-cylinder radial! This was one of those "can't pass up a deal" things that is starting to nickle and dime me to death... but it should be fun to fly once I get the motor, electronics, new flying wires, new paint job, minor repairs, and everything else done to it.

It won't compare to the looks of the Baron... but it's not supposed to.

But, until the Baron arrives... there's still a big empty spot under the tree! This is a great looking plane, and I know a lot of folks have waited longer than me for it...

Cliff,

I just have one last question for now. Will the lighting system accommodate the extra landing light for the nacelle (3 landing lights altogether), and can I add the extra landing light to my order?

Thanks,

James.

The stripes and logos are all painted and then clear coated over.

Thought you guys might like to see some more pics. My opinion the airplane looks much better with gear up. Got the electric retracts working now. All metal retract. No plastic at all.
Also notice the carbon fiber layup in the main cabin. Working doors, and also some nav light shots.

SJ3CUB, if your talking about the red airplane hanging in the shop with flames , its not a RV.
Its a Cirrus. I have an E flite 160 on it.

Cliff, not sure if you saw my post above. Is it possible to run 2 landing lights off one circuit, thus enabling me to have 3 landing lights in total?

Thanks,

James.

Cliff you can give me that bird , with all that tape and stuff on it... You wouldn't want to sell that one to anybody, might better donate it to me . ( tax rite off) lol.!! Just kidding ( not really)..anyhow great job on This craft I must say..... I noticed the front landing lights, while retracted is still on . Will we be able to control that?? Also can/ will any lights blink or rotate...But if you don't mind please leave the scalelighting as is on the Kingair . I don't have much time to add detail , plus I don't think I have great skills to do so... Thats why I love this company for the A.R.F....!!! ( aleast think about it) Thanks for your many pictures (looked over about 10 times each)
Now I can relax a little, knowing that the King is next in line..ps I know you will have everything working sound by the time it's surppose to deliver.. I just wanted to add my two cent in.. ( the excitment of it all) Go Aerodyne !!!

Cliff,
The 1st of Nov you quoted "I will also have a list of suggested mfg servos, motors, retracts, esc, etc.... Also, the electric retracts will be available shortly after the Baron is released. ", Can you publish that list for all of us, or post it on your website? I would like to start gathering the items needed to get my Baron flying ASAP

Thats what I get for assuming. I saw the landing gear and said, wow, a RV.

It's two weeks 'till Christmas, the shopping's all done
Almost time for some holiday fun
Time for some gifts, time for some sharing
And hopefully, time to open the Baron!
There's a a space for it, right under the tree
Will it make it, in time for me?
Oh well, if it doesn't,that will be fine
Some day it will get here, I know Cliff is Tryin'

The wife will get jewelry, the kid a new toy,
But things may be rough for the 50 year old boy.
A brown truck stops at the end of my drive,
Oh, could it be? Can I believe my eyes?
He springs from the back, box held in both hands,
Surely it shipped from some foreign land.
My mouth starts to foam, my eyes start to tear,
Could it be that the Baron is here?
I rip into the box, cuz the wife's not at home,
and there it is, shiny fuse, lots of chrome.
I stick it together, just to see how it fits,
it could only be better if it had great big ... (well, you know)!
The suddenly it's gone, I rise up and scream
Then realize, I was having a dream!
No baron, no box, no UPS truck,
2 weeks 'till Christmas, now that dream just sucks.

Yes, Virginia, there IS a Baron!

OK, maybe I should knock it down a notch or two before everyone finds out just how off my rocker I really am!

Hi to all King Air fans, some of you may have seen this video, but I thought I would add a link here, as this pilot does an amazing job of landing the King Air without gear down. It is some of the best piloting I have seen.

OK... this will be the last one before the holidays... unless I decide to do a rap version!

One week till Christmas, no Baron for me
Time to fill that empty spot up under the tree
Toys for the kid, earrings for the wife
It's not the end of the world, not the end of my life.
Once the presents are open, the suprizes are through,
I'll spend time with the family instead of mixing glue.
The Baron will ship, once it's ready to go,
I'll still fly my Waco, and the MX2 (unless it snows).
Christmas is still Christmas, new plane or none,
We'll spend time with family and have some real fun.
I do need to update my own Christmas list
Or maybe give that new bottle of CA to Biff!

Merry Christmas, everybody!
