Twas the night before Xmas and I remain Baron less , yet I know that Reyn will send ca to mend my broken heart. With the advent of his shipping soon I suggest we have our first National Baron Flyin at My home field in Georgia. gmarc.com is my home field and we could accomadate you all or technically ya'll on a visit.. Rumors that feel good tell me some are being shipped out shortly but only to those naughty and not nice so change quick or Saint Nick might give you the kick before kaltag the great sends me my BARON. Why do I feel like saying My Baron is better than your's? My wife say's i must have been an airplane in my former life. She overheard me describing the Baron as sensualy shaped curvaceous set of twins and I had to bring up the rcaerodyne site at once and say honey you are the best ,that cost me big this year at xmas. Hey I wish all of you all the good things you wish for others to come your way and best to you during this holiday season. Bobby Baron could have been my name but noooooooo my mom named me Neil . So I will leave you with a great message I wish you all Seasons Beatings get me my Baron please!

Yep, that about confirms it... Bif has gone off the deep end! All over a toy plane. A toy plane with twin motors, a paint scheme to die for, retracts, nav lights, flaps, simulated trim tabs, and God only knows what else!

They'll ship soon... or we'll form a posse!

Merry Christmas everyone, rumor has it that we'll get our Barons shortly after the 1st. By the way, has anyone researched the N # (N58B) tha[sm=wink_smile.gif][img][/img]t is being used on these birds? You'll be surprised what aircraft uses this number.

Yeah, me too... back in 1979. I wish I had kept up my hours and rating, but I let it slip away in favor of booze money for Friday nights! I never had a practical use for the license anyway... still don't, but I keep thinking about going back for it.

IDoes anyone know the depth of my deep end I went off over the Baron? Of all my experiences in rc this one is fascinating as we all are looking forward to the same thing. seems that the old adege good things take time as we all know is true . I wsh you all a great and prosperous New Year and don't you even think your Baron is better looking than mine?

Bif.. no doubt, yours will be the best looking Baron.

I think I saw you at GMA yesterday, but you were gone before I took a trip down to that end of the field... It was a little cold, a little breezy, but still a good day to get out of the house.

I'll be out of town for a few days, so good luck and Happy New Year to all!

Hey guys, just checked the website, and the sale price has now gone up by $100! Lucky we all got in early. I can't remember what the full price was going to be, but it is now $700! It also says that any Barons ordered now will ship in February, so I guess ours will hopefully ship very soon. I can't wait!

James.

ORIGINAL: Scale Flying

For the unpainted version, it will still have the covering with the printed panels on the wings, elevator and rudder.
I see on the website that this is not the case now, and that the wing on the gelcoat version will now be supplied in plain white only. Maybe Cliff can clear up how our models will be supplied?

Yea, I saw the price had gone up to $599.00 now. Worth every penny to. The scale struts that come with the kit would go for $150.00 alone. I'm really looking foward to seeing the electric retracts that Cliff is going to offer as well. I guess I need to break down and get the lighting kit also. He has also added a ton of new products to his web site. I can't wait to see the King Air prototype. Times are really good for us scale nuts.

I spoke with Cliff on New Year's Eve, and he said the container was on the water, and to expect shipments (first 100 units) to start towards the end of Jan.

Hey Group,
I too am waiting for the Baron.. wow, a dream come true.. The price is more than good its nuts..
I think I bought the last one of these coming in..
I did not know this thread existed but will be posting pics of my build as I go too.
I built the Royal Beech Baron years ago but never flew it.. afraid of the twin at the time.
I will like most be going electric and will be looking for recommendations.
Take care,
Doug
