Default Extra 300S, Good/Bad?

I'm considering buying a Great Planes Extra 300S 60 size kit as my acrobatic plane. From the reviews I have read it sounds good but I hear conflicting reports. Do you I making a good choice? TY

Hello Maverick_II
It is a very good aerobatic plane, but tends to be a little heavy. Some like the OS .90FX two cycle engines or 1.20 four cycles to provide the needed power. The Saito 100 4 cycle is light weight, but provides the power approaching a 1.20. It builds tail heavy too, so plan accordingly.

Thank you very much for your help GarySS. I have been looking into the Saito 100. I think I might put that engine in it. TY
