RE: ROYAL - MARUTAKA and MK KITS COMPLETE LISTING
Any idea why he sold it, (The Reliant) I have a Stuka and a Staggerwing that could be alternates. I am using Fibreglass Specalities bits for the fit out (and would do so for either of the other 2. The Staggerwing is currently slatted to be a copy of the fixed undercarriage racer (the first one built). However that might change if the e retracts are slim enough.

RE: ROYAL - MARUTAKA and MK KITS COMPLETE LISTING
Hi KM, Thank you for your input, I appreciate.
Why not make a small thread for this build and include your link here with two good pictures like before- and after-.
I would like to keep this thread as a list of models including build thread links and catalog pages when they are available, in order to respect the thread made by Riddle4U: Royal kits
I hope you understand the idea, his thread is from 2007 while mine is from 2010 only and I don't want to compete with it, just tried to compile a list to make it easy to find the specs of every model. Some nice pictures and build thread links are always a plus.

Help with identification of plane!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, I am wondering if you can tell me if this is a trainer made by Royal and/or if any one recognizes it. We thought it was the Cherry by Royal but was told it was not. Built about 1973 and purchased in Alaska

Hi Patsy,
it looks very similar to one of my trainers: the 'New Bluecraft' made by Marutaka in Osaka ( Royal, Denver was US market distributor for MRM products ) but with a slightly modified vertical fin.
New Bluecraft specs are : wingspan 1400 mm, length 1089 mm, weight 2 kg, engine: 0.29 to 0.40
It has the same positioning of horizontal stabilizer and same nice clean finishing of wing's upper center part.

RE: ROYAL - MARUTAKA and MK KITS COMPLETE LISTING
Hi fellas,
Nice thread. I have recently aquired a 1/5 scale royal corsair from a swap meet. It was already built up and glassed and did not come with plans. I have already got it in primer and added gear to see how she flies before putting to much work into her. She flies great but I did ding up the rudder. It is 105" wingspan and dry weight is 35 pounds. I would really like to get my hands on a set of plans if anyone has them. I would like to know how she is put together and it might help with fixing the rudder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't forget the B-17E. This one flew for the first time in June. I built it for Mike Hunt of Floyd's Knob, IN. It has four O.S. FS-26 four-strokes, plus Dave Brown motor mounts, seperate Hi-tech micro servors for ailerons, throttles and elevators, plus pull-pull steering for the rudder/steering. Model flew very nicely.

Here are scans of the kits listed in the MK catalog that was included in my MK Cessna 310G kit. The catalog also included a variety of accessories, which I have not scanned. There is no date on the catalog.
