Well Ol' Chap, we will just have to see about that. Now won't we? Pip Pip! Cheeri-O and all that Rot! (Sorry, I have been reading McCudden's book again)

Greg, of course I will. Like my credit cards; I never leave home without it

Shouldn't we post a calendar for the pool? What about bets on stages of completion?

Its a scale airplane.....therefore it is never completed........at some point I will just stop working on it!

So, for the purposes of the pool, I suggest that completed will mean "flyable!"

Hey! for all those doubters out there I am still working on it.....just goggle www.justaskRhonda.com.

Just flyable? That could mean just covered, not painted, no pilot figure, Art pulls an all nighter the day before the event to get the controls programmed, makes Rhonda help with rib stitching at 2am & then maidens it at the fly-in. I could see that by Hoosier Dawn Patrol 2010.

Greg...you are assuming that we have minimum standards, that would be news to me

You're right Dave, but I'm pretty sure some if not all of the scenario I described has actually happened before & therefore could happen again!

David,

Rest assured that we of the Hoosier Dawn Patrol, have no minimum standards, that we are aware of.

I'm looking forward to my first ODP!
At the moment, I'm frantically trying to finish a 1/3 scale Tripehound, but there is still alot to do. I will be bringing my1/4 scale D.VII, Eindecker EIII, N-17 and an SE-5a (ex-Suchy machine).

Are those trees as close as they look in the pictures?

Not really. They are much more in the background than my photos would suggest. On one of the runways you do need to be a little more aware of the tree line but for the most part it's not caused me any problems yet. Knock on wood. Oh wait, that's not right... I don't want to do that!

Maybe we'll get a chance to practice our sideslips! Seriously, I don't believe it will be much different than our club field. The Muncie site can spoil you with it's mile long flat spot![X(]
