Scale Spinner for Beaver
I have been looking for a scale, or semi scale aluminum spinner for a Dehavilland Beaver. (OS FS 120 engine).
Can anyone give me any suggestions? Thanks Steve |
RE: Scale Spinner for Beaver
You can check with Bob at Tru Turn. If they dont have exactly what you are looking for he can certainly make something for you. I have had him make custom spinners for me before & he did it in a short time span......Gene

I don't have any pictures yet of my plane but this is the same one I'm doing.
Thanks Steve |
RE: Scale Spinner for Beaver
What scale is it??
The Graphic seams to show a p-51 style were as the photo seam to have just the OEM uncovered prop hub |
RE: Scale Spinner for Beaver
I believe it is a 1/6th or 1/7th scale. 87" wing.
Im just looking for something close. I have an aluminum prop nut, but I would rather have a spinner which looks closer to scale. I am not building a scale replica, just want it to look good. Thanks Steve |

Nice P47! I thought I would send a photo of mine, which I haven't flown yet. Too scared. I sheeted and fiberglassed with 3/4 oz cloth. I need to weigh it and decide if it's air worthy. How does yours fly, and do you know the weight? Steve |
RE: Scale Spinner for Beaver
Mine is a Zirroli 70" span, weighs 17lbs dry, Brison 2.4 for power Flys good, but it's work to land,, no flaps
