Dummy Radial Engine
 
Anyone Know where I can get a 1/2 Scale Dummy Radial for my Camel ! No one close in the Scale Department I can ask ! Looking for a fiberglass or plastic replica . Hey Paul W. any Ideas ? Billy T.

I would guess that at that size you'd be talking about a wooden kit rather than the usual plastic or fiberglass molded dummy. No doubt AZM would provide such a wooden kit (of doubtful quality) for an exorbitant price. You might be better off looking for cylinder kits and then scratch building a dummy crankcase.

Since there seems to be some interest in WWI models of various sizes, you might contact John Valentine of Top Notch Products Company in Goodlettsville, TN. They currently produce some pretty nice models of Continental 65 hp engines and might consider expanding their line to include some stuff for WWI. Their kits are from laser cut plywood with very little plastic. No promises, of course, but it might be worth a try.
