RE: tiger moth
I am a scale guy so I would choose an engine that will hide well...The saito 100 has a shorter stroke than an OS .90 so the heigth might make that easier to concele. Saito also has a 90 degree muffler adapter that could work to concele the muffler. Check the demension out on their respective web sites. Just is the way I would go about it. To each his own! It is a hobby.

Lasers are easy to cowl and live with.

RE: tiger moth
Personally I can't imagine needing anything over a 70 FS for a Tiger Moth of that size unless you want to fit a reversible prop and hover nose down.
Given the option, I would also go for a longer stroke engine and larger prop to keep the revs down for a sound more befitting a Tiger Moth. Thayer |
RE: tiger moth
I think a .70 would be good too.
