Scale prop

Building a Spad XIII from a Dumas kit that will be a static model and want to make a new wooden prop look scale. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Simplest is just to strip the varnish, sand off any markings, then stain and revarnish. The key thing is to get the size of the prop correct. If you want to go a bit more scale you can carve/sand the stock prop into a shape more like the original.

Or using the pictures Abu supplied you could get a piece of walnut or mahogany and saw out the out line at the proper size and carve the airfoil. It's not as hard as you might think and it doesn't have to have perfect pitch as it's not for flying.

If this is the 35" wingspan model , it is about 1/9 scale (9.28 to be a bit closer) So the scale size for the prop would be 9.91 inches. A tad over 9 7/8"
Not a monster to create.
