Byron Originals Cessna 195

Hi Guys.
I have a complete Byron Originals Cessna 195 kit semi built. All the hard work done, frame up, sheeting, cutting, wing & UC mounting done. Balsa work ready for final sanding and finishing. This is a big model, 250cm span. G45 or similar or even better, it's perfect for electric conversion. The fuselage and wing is huge. Flaps/spoilers a must have/use. Expertly built - no hanger rash. All parts included, nothing missing. Some still new in bag. Just google the 195... there a so many colours schemes, private and military.
It's for sale. Ideas on a price. It's in Norway but can be shipped.

Have you came up with a price? How much would it be to ship to the USA zip code 74063? I may be interested.

Hi coyote...I want $900. The consensus from the US is $1500.
Seeing it's situated in Norway, one of the most expensive countries on the planet, shipping best arranged/ordered from the USA. It's guaranteed to be far cheaper.
I will or course lias with the shipping agent and personally take care of packing. You will need build a crate, 180cm x 65x65 for example.
Shipping from Oslo 0287-Norway to your address.

If you're a competent builder, I could split the fuselage length wise. There an ideal spot 10 inchs south of the trailing edge where we could follow the panel lines and create an invisible break.
Doing this would dramatically reduced shipping cost again reducing the crate dimensions to about 140cm in length.
If you're skill confident, putting it back is a simple procedure, resulting in an invisible join, stronger than original.
