Don't know of any highly detailed ARF's. But if you build from a kit you may have to go a bit bigger. A kit will be as detailed as you are able to make it. Or rather, want to make it. Pica makes a decent spitfire kit close the size you want. And if you can build from plans Brian Taylor has a nice plan for a spit with a 70" span. [&:]

This 71" span ARF is made by CM Pro and can be purchased from [link=http://www.jet-hobbies.com/jhl/docs/airplanes/scale_airplane.jsp]Jet-Hobbies[/link].

RE: spitfire

Nice detail indeed Richard. But the flaps are wrong. Spits had split flaps.

RE: spitfire

hi guys
not only are the flaps wrong but the spitfire was not used as a bomber during this era,the decals provided give the squadron code as UF this squadron was a HURRICANE squadron at the time and did not get any spits until 1942 MkV and the royal navy did not have any aircraft it was the FLEET AIR ARM and they flew SEA GLADIATORS at the time!!
just a few observations maybe CHINA MODEL PRODUCTS should do a little more research and suppy this excellent kit with some scale (ish) decals and the same goes for their MOSQUITO kit as well
