Help on O/D twin construction methods - engine nacelle mounting

Hi folks,

I originally posted this in the Tips & Techniques section but have been advised to post here.

I want to draw up plans for a smallish twin engined model, high wing, between 60" and 70" span, two .36 engines in nacelles built into the wing, a-la Dornier 328. Wing will probably be built up. I have never built a twin before and not sure how to integrate the engine pods/nacelles into the wing structure without adding too much weight. Thoughts on both foam and built up methods would be much appreciated. Wouldn't mind buying a plan from somewhere if it showed a good method of construction. I would like the structure to be integrated or at least in contact with the spar for peace of mind.

Any help much appreciated.

Regards,
Al

You would probably get more responses in the Scratch Building or the Twin Engine sections
