BobH, thanks very much for the info. I did a lot of web searching this morning, but that source did not come up. Thanks again bob, I do appreciate it.

Bob, I hope you can find something that's useful ...I love the Waco's. I have a Pica 1/5 NIB that my wife has been bugging me to build for years! One of these day's I'll built it and make it very scale.

Bob and Bob,

Ken and I had a great time at the 2007 AWC Fly-In this past weekend at Creve Coeur Airport near St. Louis, MO. Our reports start on page 113 of the WACO YMF thread in the Vintage and Antique forum. Lots of pictures posted there. Have a look.

One of the principle owners at Creve Coeur Airport has three views and most of the WACO drawings of the UBF-2, there are 3 at CCA and I think they are all registered to him. I will borrow them and get copies made early next month. Two other Wacos that are just as good looking (IMHO) are the QCF and the UBA and the museum has 1 of each so photos are not a problem. At the Fly In, 2 of the 3 known flying UBAs were there.

John, thank you very much. I would gladly reimburse you for your cost to copy any UBF info you can do for me. I have been very busy this last month as I have sold my home in Wisconsin and purchased a new home in Kentucky. I have been packen, toten and storen stuff for the whole month. Will not have much time for Waco's for awhile, but will stay in touch via RCU. I am looking forward to being close to Bowling Green where I may be able to see model and full size aircraft.

BobH--What do you know about the plans from NASM? What scale are they drawn to? I downloaded the request form, I saw at least 4 that I would love to do; the UBF, UBA, UPF and the Taperwing.

I don't know the scale of the NASM plans. But you can probably enlarge them to what ever size you want to make?

You might try contacting a plans guy over on E-bay. Seller name is ....startpoint... If he doesn,t have the ubf-2 maybe he knows where to get a set. He does have the Taperwing right now. Good to deal with. Good luck........puplover.
