lozenge pattern on Super Coverite

I just cut an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of super coverite and put it in my cannon i550 (typical home inkjet printer) and printed a lozenge pattern that I found on a web site and enlarged in paint shop pro. THe whole thing took me about 10 minutes. The results aren'
t perfect but not bad for the time invested. I bet a nice big pen plotter would do a great job on this with a bit of experimentation.

Jeff, I bet it looks pretty good.. You do some neat stuff with a decent printer. If you want real good fabric with a lozenge pattern on it check out Glen Torrence models.. He sells it in several styles.. Regards BobH.

lozenge pattern on Super Coverite

I have looked at Glenns stuff but I want to cover a 1/8 scale plane with it. Arizona modles has it down to 1/6. Mostly I was just having fun. I think I will try spraying a fixative on the fabric first so the ink doesn't bleed so much. Also, I have the natural color coverite and white would probably be a better base.

Jeff, I made myself some Rondells for a Yellow Spit and printed them on special paper. They were cleared after that with a product made for clearing over pastels and chalks. Appearently it was not water proof lol.. a heavy dew bled the colors. Not to bad but enuff. Just make sure you have water proof clear lol!!. BobH.
