Well guys, I guess that about wraps this build up.
I want to thank all of you for your comments and suggestions. They were all very helpful.
It has been a blast to build this boat and I have learned a lot along the way.
Really not too sure what is next, but I'm looking at a springer tug and push barge. Just looking right now.
I have a bunch of info on it and its looks like it would be a fun build and a fun boat to run.
I guess we'll see if it pans out.

Springers are cool. You can build one to scale or one for whimsey.. Even one that mixes the two. I know there is a "regulation" size springer if you want to use it for competition but if not build it how you want it. What ever you build it will be a thread to watch!

Its good to be home It was pretty bad for about the last week. I got a question what type of glue do you recommend for putting this modle together

In case anyone is still watching this forum, while I have been out of work on sick leave I found a reality show on the History Channel called "Big Shrimpin". I have taped two shows and they are pretty good. They sail out of Louisiana.
