Seems the up loaders finally working. Here is a pic of the final CAD drawing. I also made some sticker decals that each thing will come with. Trying to get them printed up on waterproof clear vinyl.

It's almost ready for sale I'm guessing either Saturday or Monday I will start taking orders. I added a bunch of new pics on the website, check them out. Working out final details like making a simple manual on how to assemble certain things and fixing a few tweaks. Some of the hole sizes came out the tiniest bit to small stuff like that.

I'm a little confused now. From your original posts I thought you had converted the electronics from a Flysky radio and installed them into your CNC plastic housing. Looking at your webpage I see seperate wheel and throttle modules for sale. Do thos have electronics in them? Or does the customer transfer the electronics from the Flysky into those modules?

None of them come with electronics. I took measurements off 3 different transmitters I have and this kit should be able to fit most, if not any transmitter. Each part is being sold separately so you can build your own setup in case you only need 3 channels, or 9+.

This is a great setup. Do you think it will work with a Spektrum DX7? You should also put a thread on the "Tank/Armor" forum. This would be perfect for a tracked vehicle too. Two sticks for stearing and speed, your thruster could be gun elevation, your steering could be turret rotation. I will order it if it works on the DX7. Dennis

Looking at a few internal pics of the DX7 it looks like it could easily work. It has a lot more chip boards but they can be mounted above the modules on dowel legs. The only real work is cutting out the main panel to fit that display but it should work. The dimensions for that opening are here http://spykerworkshop.webs.com/apps/...toid=139071298

Just curious, what do people think about the prices on them? From the amount of labor and cost of materials I think they all seem fair to me.

It's out for sale also if you missed it in my previous post.

Edit: also here are some new pics, I made a second one to test out the other modules.

Yeah that or on one of mine I drilled a hole through a corner and zip tied a strap through it. There are also 2 holes on top to bend and shape a handle. I used a 1/4-20 threaded rod bent into a U shape and bolted it into those holes enlarged.

Can thhe rudder wheel be mounted on the right quadrant base and have the single stick throttle be on the left quadrantt, with the bow thruster in the middle?

I used to be in marketing and sales.....maybe a decent discount for the first 12-15 sold and then ask for testimonials from those. I hesitate to be the very first to try some new mechanicaL PRODUCT.

Or maybe a sliding discount sale for the first 10 sold? 30% off the first one sold, 27% off the secound, 24% off the third, etc. I would definately take production model #1. I sent you private em too.

I discussed it with a few of my friends (as we were all interested in this product) and the conclusion was that it was a bit expensive. We do not doubt the time and labor that went into it but it is a "luxury" item as it is not necessary for normal rc control.

Send me an email we should talk.

rctugger - The steering module works on the right and left side, but cant work in the middle cause of the trim tab setup.

I reviewed everything and lowered pretty much everything.

base model from $70 to $50
steering wheel from $38 to $30
double throttle from $25 to $20
single throttles from $20 to $15
bow thruster from $25 to $20
extension bay from $25 to $20

Its now $100 even for a basic setup, base model, steering wheel, and double throttle.

It's almost spring and boat time again! I have sold 2 of these so far and haven't received any feedback from them yet. Only takes 2-3 days to make and ship out the orders when they come in. Who is all interested to get one for the beginning of boat season?

Website for them: http://spykerworkshop.webs.com/apps/webstore/

1. For some reason, even though I'm subscribed to your thread, I was not getting notices. Thus I did not know your store was up and running. Perhaps other potential buyers have had the same problem.
2. I went to place my order, but you only take Paypal. I can't use that, having exceeded my lifetime allotment of Paypal usage of $5000 (can't use again until I sign up for their credit card or give them my bank account numbers they told me). Can I place an order and pay some other way?

Thanks,
Brooks Martin

I placed my order. Your webstore still has the old, higher prices: $70 box, 40 wheel, 30 double throttle, 20 single throttle.
