Once you have the boat to the proper water line, fill the tub with water.
let the water settle and sprinkle a light coating of powder on the surface. Set the boat in and pull it out. I then taped it off about a 1/4" above the powder. Wipe and wash the powder off, sand with 400 grit and paint.

Thanks Wayne, I always wondered what the procedure was for using the powder method for marking the water line.

Nice looking winch. Which UK store did you purchase it from?

When are you going out for another sea trial now that the water line is painted on? What is her name going to be?

I got the winch from Cornwall in the UK.
Been trying to get back to the lake for the past week. Hopefully this weekend.
Not sure on a name yet. I have been using the google polish translater to try and figure out a name. No luck so far.

The time has come to sell the tug. this will be a complete ready to float unit. boat, and radio. I must admit I have not run the boat in a few years so you may need to update/replace the battery. $550 for everything includes shipping. I just rejoined rc universe so my user name changed along with the join date. I can have people vouch for me if need be. [email protected]

Hey guys
I would really like to get rid of this boat as its just collecting dust. I have no idea what it is worth so I will take a hard look at all offers. You won't offend me, so go ahead and shoot me an offer.
Thanks.

Wayne,

I didn't see your boat for sale anymore so I have to assume you have sold it. Sure hope you got a decent price for her available. In a way, I was hoping you still had her available, but . . .
I've been busy (trying) to get back into flying, after a 42-year absence. There's a trainer ready to go but Indiana weather and other obligations have stopped me from trying to fly her.
Oh well, so goes life.

Bob
