Nice job! I did an RC conversion of the model a few years ago. What did you use for power? I used a Graupner "Speed 140" which is a 280 with a built-in 2:1 gearbox- it was a perfect match for the hull. That tubby hull will only go so fast!

I used 2 surplus Cellular Phone 3.7 V batteries. That is, one for Receiver & one for motor ( which has a vintage resistor speed control by sliding servo arm).
