RE: USCG
You mean like this one? [8D] I built this one long ago in 1981, and it is still floating. I currently have two Graupner 600s in it. I wouldn't mind building a larger one, if I could find some good pics and/or dwgs... [8D] Oops - your link shows the 41 footer...

RE: USCG
The Dumas 40' CG Utility boat I have is 35" length, by 10" max beam. Height somewhere around 10-12 inches I guess. The 44' CG rescue boat by dumas is about 33" length - not sure if it is still kitted or not. The larger 41' CG boat from Dumas (looks like the one you have a link to - but keep digging further in the website) is 31" length. [8D]

yjguy, thats the boat i want.but the size is 40'' inch above.if i build 44'' inch long whats the beam and height of the boat?
thanks |
RE: USCG
aramacir,
Mathematically, if you build a model 44" long it would have a beam of approximately 14 3/16" (using the Dumas #1214 as a basis). I don't know the height of this model but if some one provides you the information, multiply by 1.419 to get the answer. Bob |
