Lindberg 1/32 PT-109, shafts mount

Besides the fact that there should be three instead of just two shafts, there is a piece to be glued where the shaft comes out from the hull, but I don't think it is right.

What should I do?

Post some images of the struts, propeller shaft, propellers and stuffing tubes. Dan.
