BLUEBIRD OF CHELSEABluebird was built in 1931 by Thornycroft for Sir Malcolm Campbell to commemorate his Knighthood and to celebrate breaking the land speed record with his car Bluebird at 246mph. She participated in Operation Dynamo, the evacuation of 338,000 British and French troops from the beaches of DUNKIRK in 1940. She alsotook part in the Queens Jubilee Parade in 2012.
