HMCS Haida in 1/48 scale

I got a snail mail package from Graham Thompson, Curator Historic Photographs & Ships Plans, National Maritime Museum, UK.

In the package was a list of plans that could be ordered from them on the HMCS Haida in 1/48th SCALE!!:

Plan Type/Scale/Price (in Pounds Sterling)

Forcastle Dk-Bridges #NPB3225/1:48/L13.60
Profile #NPB3226/1:48/L13.60
Sections #NPB3227/1:48/L13.60
Upper Deck #NPB3228/1:48/L13.60
Lower Deck #NPB3229/1:48/L13.60
Hold #NPB3230/1:48/L13.60
Docking Plan #NPB3231/1:48/L13.60
Rigging Plan #NPB3232/1:48/L13.60

Entire Collection: ADR/1449: L108.80

Reasearch and Handling L11.28
Post Packing: L18.75

If this wasn't the good news I was looking for there was also a survey - it would seem that the NMM is looking for OUR help.

They are preparing to scan all their plans to save on wear and handling and would like to know which types people prefer: B&W, Greyscale, Colour or Other (specify).

Drop him a line with your thoughts on which one you'd like.
