Is this possible to convert to RC
 

I looking at trying to convert these 2 boats to RC.
1929 Typhoon George Crouch
1938 Chris Craft Triple Cockpit

Who makes these boats, just out of curiousity? Do you have access to the rudder controls and the stuffing box? If you do and if the hull is sealed water tight you perhaps can convert them to R/C.

Just as a very rough 'guesstimate' the boats seem large enough to hold the required R/C gear. There are a few 'but's in that, though. It depends on how they were built, the 'shape' of any free space inside. Without knowing that, it's a guess at best.
Then you have the 'fun' of ~getting~ inside the boat to install all the stuff. I can't say about you, but from the looks of them, I am not 'good' enough to take that chance (just too pretty of a boat(s)). If you can get either of them at the price of the last bid I saw, @#$$ YES, do it! Still not too sure I'd ever let either of them touch water though...

I asked a question on E Bay to the seller if any of his modles were able to be converted to R/C by a modeller, this ia his answer.

Yes. Definitely. I have personally removed the rear deck canopy before and there are sufficient place for you to install the twin motor 480 or 540. ESC servos and etc. However, you will need to check out with your local hobby shop if they have conversion kits for you.
