Tim,
Probably the most common way is by putting a small drop/drip/dab of sort of thick CA where you want a rivet. A few of the more uncommon ways are to mark each rivet exactly, then sand everything away from it (very uncommon). Or make the rivets then glue them on (uncommon, unless the rivets are pretty good sized things). Then paint, stain, or cover the whole mess with something.

hi i scatch build planes and i use a squeeze bottle with glue try before on a junk piece frist, or if it soft wood i use a sewing maker or cutting wheel it works great, then exopy lite over it ,you may have to make them deep if you are going to do it this way but you get a beautyful roll of rivets rye
