Plane to boat conversion!
I have a foam airplane and I would like to take the components off of it and build a boat.
It as a Speed 400 motor, a 2 ch transmitter, a 2 ch receiver, 2 micro servos. I was thinking of using one servo for LEFT-RIGHT and the other channel for FRONT-REVERSE. I know there are speed controllers for electric motors, but is there anything that will do reverse? I would like to scratch build this boat. Any good source for plans or help on building would be nice (since I've never done this before). Anything suitable for a speed 400 would do. Thanks for your time! |
RE: Plane to boat conversion!
If your Radio is 27 mhz, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
However if it s a 72mhz I would not recommend reusing the the transmitter or reciever, as 72mhz is reserved for Aircraft only. Proboat, and Mtroniks make some great reversable water proof ESC.
