Large Scale

I will be coming into some money in the near future and want to buy a couple of kits while I have the money. I want to know if anyone has an opinion of Badmodels, Scaleship yards and Loyalhanna. I did a search on these companies here in the form section and most of the stuff I found was from 2004 or 2005. What I am concerned about is Scaleschip yards. I want the Arizona as a several year build and they have the 76" model but the the search comments put them in a bad light. Need some updated info before I make my purchase. Thanks!!!

I don't know what bad things you read. I have never had anyhing but good luck with Bill's products. That isn't a endorsement it is just that I am a satisfied customer.

There is something wrong with that link. It came up that it does not exist. Can you send a working link? Correction I had to copy and paste it into my browser for the link to work.

There is a "." at the end of the link that is messing it up.

The biggest problem everyone has had with the Howell Model website is that it does not list any prices without logging in. [:'(] We had one kind gentleman sign up and list all the prices for us, because no one else was willing to sign up just to see the price list.;)

the steam drifter at 31 inches is a nice looking boat. I can only imagine what the cost is being that it includes motors.
When I do try and log in I get this message from Microsoft.

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address."

Anytime I see this it always worries me. You can't be too careful on the net today.

There are several boats on that web site that I'd like to know more about. But, like others, I don't 'sign up' for everything that comes along. Just not real smart considering some of the 'stuff' that happens in such cases. I don't mean to cast aspersions about the 'HowellModel' site! I do think they should re-think their site's behavior, though. 'Paranoid'? Probably, but then, sometimes I've done things that have made me 'paranoid'...
