Hello Newbee here. I found this, just after I purchased probably the last still in the box Midwest Products 47 MLB kit. I have been looking for a proboat or similar for more than a year, when I finaly found about Midwest product. I gave me a new hope of finding a discontinued model.

It will take a lot a of time before I can get to bulding it, but for me, just finding one is already great. I have joined the Canadian Coast Guard I little more than a year and a half ago, and I have been working around those boat since the begining. As a now former paramedic, I became a rescue specialist.

This will be my first built kit on a model, even more on a working model. I am impressed with the work that they required, but if I can control my temper and be patient ( I know I can, once I get well organized, my place is a mess right now).

I can pretty much fab or fix anything when I put my mind to it. But I am sure I will find a lot of help and trics and idea on this forum.

Now I was wondering if you finalized this project of yours. If so, I would be happy to see the continuation of your built.
