Newbie Question about glue
Straight up newbie question. What is the best way to remove dried or semi-dried glue from wood. At times, I have a little glue run off the piece that I am gluing and I'm finding it a pain to sand down. There has to be some trick to make things a little easier. Thanks in advance.

RE: Newbie Question about glue
What type of glue is it? White, CA, epoxy? Most glues come off with sanding or heat.

RE: Newbie Question about glue
The one I use most is insta-cure+ 5-15 sec Gap Filling (CYANOACRYLATE) The other is Sig-Ment. Which one is better? Is there a "Best" glue to use for wood boats? What do you guys recommend?

RE: Newbie Question about glue
There is a debonder for CA glue that works pretty well. Be sure to get it quick. Alcohol works great for epoxies.

RE: Newbie Question about glue
Acetone from your local hardware store works wonders. You can get a gallon of it for just a few bucks! Much cheaper than going to a hobby supply place. Works good on CA's, and epoxy. I know you're building the American Enterprise...be sure to fillet in with epoxy after you've used the CA glue. You don't want the boat popping apart after a few months. The two part epoxy adhesives will give the glue joints the strength you're looking for!
