Scale clubs in San Diego area
 

I also asked this over on RCG. Just wondering if there are any scale boat clubs in the San Diego, Ca. area.

Ken, there is a nice pond in the mission bay area, I guess it belongs to the San DIEGO MODEL BOAT CLUB. I spent some time out that way when I was in the navy. Type in some of these key words on the net and you will come up something to know what I am saying. Roger

There are a couple. Task Force 96 runs at Santee Lakes they have some Scale Only run and some fun runs for folks that do not have 1/96 Ships. There is also a group that runs out of Heritage Park in Chula Vista on the Third Saturday.

I am getting ready to PCS back to San Diego in July, so I will be out and about with my 1/144 USS CONSTELLATION (CV 64). She was not done when I left San Diego, in 2005 but she is ready to go now.. :D
