8' Scale Custom Carolina Sportfisher
Hello
I thought I would share this build it is a 32' Custom Carolina sportfisher Scaled down to 8' all frames are cut on a CNC router I am building the hull to scale and it will look like the real hull. I will be using the Hull for a shop sign/display and maybe RC . I will add pictures as I build it. please excuse the messy garage I am building the model at home. also note in the pictures the model is setting on top of the 32' jig. hope you enjoy [email protected] http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...P1010026-1.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...s/P1010034.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...s/P1010035.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...P1010040-2.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...s/P1010032.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...P1010035-1.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...P1010036-2.jpg Mod edit - removed sale reference |
RE: 8' Scale Custom Carolina Sportfisher
I really don't know why, but I expected you to be a little taller than that. Nice boat though!

RE: 8' Scale Custom Carolina Sportfisher
8'? RC? Heck, you could ride in that at eight feet long! :D Especially cuz you're a runt as Doc pointed out! :p lol...
What kind of foam is that green stuff? I bought some green foam from a craft store and it turned out to be horrible stuff. Anyway, this is going to be awesome! Keep posting pics! :) |

RE: 8' Scale Custom Carolina Sportfisher
I wonder what ever happened to the builder because he hasn't not posted anything on this boat in a couple of years.I wonderwhy he chose a soft foam material for the keel & chine. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...msn/stupid.gif

RE: 8' Scale Custom Carolina Sportfisher
