I sat home last week no work but did get board and do something. I dug out a couple of old lindberg and built them with scavenged servo parts they are bath tub tested and now if it doesent rain im taking the kids to the creek to try them out. I have not built a boat model in a few years maby i will start again.

Well, how did they run, man?

Swim or sink?

Nice work on both. They look well-used and realistic.

On my Lindberg tug I fitted a styrene coaming round the deck hole.  Helps keep water out of the insides, also helps locate the superstructure.<div>I've got a Shrimper waiting in the queue for time and inspiration - how did you lay out the works on yours?</div>

mfr02 has got the right idea; it is prudent to make these small models as seaworthy as possible. Considering their small size, any minimal ripple in the water is more or less typhoon-size to these boats and that can result in the risk of swamping.

I've never seen any pics much less video of the RC-converted Lindberg Shrimp Boat in action. Hoping to see your below-decks layout (and anything else for that matter) however futile it may be since this thread has been resurrected from oblivion. [:o]
