RC USS Dallas Submarine by Funworks
Hey people:
Got a small problem, not sure why the sub is doing this. I just got the RC Seawolf and USS Dallas submarines that Funworks builds.
The seawolf sub floats perfect when put in the water, before operating any motors. When the USS Dallas is put in the water, it floats for a few minutes then sinks to the bottom of our indoor pond. I have checked the sub over really good, and found no wieghts at all in any of the rudders or battery compartment. I have read the instructions and researched on the net, they both should float before having to add any weights of which the seawolf sub does.
I am using AA rechargable batteries and they wiegh the same as AA alkaline batteries. Dont think thats a problem.
Could it be there is not enough foam inside the sub to give it the bouancy needed before operating??
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks:
Andy Dale.
