Default My Alfa's Maiden Voyage

finally got to drive her around in a pool. the sub handles very well; kinda like a r/c blimp. turns and dives on command too. all in all, i'm happy with the way my alfa performs in the water. here are some pics. they were taken by my friend, M.M. while i drove the sub

wot did you use to paint it with?

for the pushrods, i just used some thin plastic tubing filled with vaseline along with a stuffing box (green part) filled with more vaseline. the paint is Testors flat red and flat black spray paint. it was coated with Testor's Dullcote.

i took it to about 6 or 7 feet briefly, but it was mostly running at 1-4 feet.
