Default pics of my engel nautilus

hi everyone
i thought some of you would like to see my nearly finished NAUTILUS...body 90% finished just the electrics to go.. this is my second sub
the 1st being a robbe u47...
on the nautilus i added a few more bits of detail slats on back of wheel house.. vented areas on deck vents underneath etc....
i hope someone can benefit from the pics..

Nice! I'm working on a type VIIB U-boat presently, be nice if you could attach some pics of the U-47!

No actually the boat I am working on is completly scratchbuilt, I'm not sure if I would make the forward dive planes functional. Most space is reseved for the torpedo system. I'm interested in all U-boat model pictures, the Robbe U-47 would be one of them!

Well, I think I can spare space for a divingplane mechanism. If you refer to the drawings in my other thread about pen-tube torpedoes, you can see that the torps will take much of the forward space. But I think I can find some space bellow the torp tubes to install this. I will link the forward diving plane linkages to the rear planes, that way I won't have to use a separate channel only for the bow-planes. Another way of doing this is by attaching the linkages to perhaps a mechanical pendulum inside the wtc, sort of acts like a levelling control!
