1/144 Gato conversion????
1/144 Gato
Hi All,
I'm looking for advice on turning the new 1/144 Gato kit into a workable sub. Side note; I'm in to Model Warship Combat, so I'm trying to make this a usable combat model or at least a non-combat convoy runner. Either way, I'll have fun with it.

Hi guy boy did you pick a tough on! I have seen a few but they are far in between, I know they made on work up in washington state. Try to get a hold of the Queens own with paul Flemming, he might have some ideas.

Thanks, I figure if I can scratch build the ARA Rivadavia, this would be a fun challenge too. Even if it doesn't work, it's still a nice kit. Are any of the Ohio folks going to the FRAY??

Come to my all submarine only forum. www.subpirates.com I'm about to rc this model. Piece of cake and all the experts in the world are there to help you.
Haven't started mine yet as I make subs kits and have a couple to finish off first so I can start shipping. But there's lots of people to help you do it the right way. And that's using a WTC. I used this one for the special Navy Type 23 and the small 1:144 type 21.
