could some one tell me the basic things you need to make a simple dynamic diver like (a motor a hull....etc)? cuz im goin to a rc hobby store this week and i wanna get some stuff

Well this is what i know. You firt should buy a kit sub. Or make one if you can. Then buy a WTC whichever size fits your needs. A nice 3-4ch radio futaba or other*make sure its land 75mhz* the rx servos, drive motor geared 1:3 or whatever you want, brass tubing and brass shafts for pushrods and drive shafts, a prop unless your sub already came with one, maybe a failsafe which is optional mostly only for static divers and a battery to run your stuff. Also dont forget an ESC. I think thats pretty much what you need. Make sure your stuff is balanced and waterproof. Water+electronics=[:@]

Yeah sure it can be just any. Do make sure that it is a land type Transmitter. Dont go out using a 72mhz or other air type transmitters. If you get a whole kit Transmitter, receiver, servos, and maybe the battery for a 4 ch its around 100 and some $ so make sure you make no mistakes with water leaks. Go to ServoCity they have some nice equipment there. Also the frequency can be 49 or 27 i guess if you could find one with 4chs. Servos it depends what you want. For a beginner you probably would watn to go with a dynamic diver. So you would need 2 servos. You could have a rudder and elevator setup or bowplanes and rudder setup either way works. Brass tubing is for waterproofing the shafts. If you look around on the web there are some water tight shafts with their own o-rings built in to their barings i think. It does not have to be brass but make sure whatever you use doesnt rust. For subs rust is bad. Pushrods are just the metal linkages that hook up to your servos which eventually would hook up to your control surface.

Sounds like you've haven't built any sort of RC model yet. This being the case I think you may find this project too difficult to complete and and an expensive exercise. Why don't you start off with an RC car/buggy that you build from a kit? You can use the same radio gear when you move to a sub if you get a 4ch outfit to start off. If it has to be a sub then get one thats designed to be radio controlled from the out, rather than trying to convert these little plastic subs. If you haven't figured out how to connect servo's and ESC's to the Rx yet, you will have a nightmare with those tiny fiddly linkages. Get a Dumas Akula, it will cheaper than getting a plastic kit, WTC, seals, prop shafts, motors/gearbox, odds and ends like the correct diameter tubes, and MUCH easier to build. Should perform better too.
