Converting a scale kit to rc

I have a 1/72 scale gato class sub kit that I would like to make rc and am looking for advice on how to do it. what parts to buy, how to install them etc.

RE: Converting a scale kit to rc

The model can be converted to R/C and D&EMiniatures makes a FIttings Kit with things like - retractable dive planes, metal props, shafts etc.

Also available is the Sub-driver with controls etc. There is also a set of 5 CDs showing the stages of the conversion.

This should set you on the right path

Hi,
I think Caswell Plating has conversions too. Another source may be Dave Welch. He makes semi-kits for just such conversions.

Dave Welsh makes a wtc for this kit but if you want the fittings kit you will only be able to get it from caswell.
