water proofing electonics

Tool handle dip. Wipe the servo case with alcohol, let dry, then paint on the dip covering all seams. Make sure you cover the wires completely by untwisting them then painting each wire for an inch from the case, you may retwist after painting. Grease an o-ring and place it on the output shaft, tightening the arm down only until the servo resists. Should keep water out for brief periods and several feet under.

thqankyou so much, funny thing, i had just reread the Revell thread by Turbobearcat with the tool dip idea, but your detail is appriceated, good for about 5 to 7 feet of depth maybe?
after i make my Robbe SeaWolf i was thinking i always wanted a SeaView, and wondered about making a adapation of a model kit, like other kits i have seen, with bondo endcaps for WTC
