sub + camera

hello,

I've just joined the forum and reviewed some posts. I'm looking for a sub with a camera. Preferably 6m (18 feet), but that seems to be professional grade depth.
I saw the one from megadeth - depth 6 feet = around 2m.

What I'm looking for is a sub that I could put in a lake in Poland where there's supposedly a lot of various junk from WWII and I would like to see what's there. I understand there are two problems with depth - pressure and radio communication. With depths over 6 feet, getting rid of the radio communication problem would be to replace it with cable. And if I wanted to add camera to this, this seems to be the best solution.

Are there combos - subs+camera, similar to the ones like raidentech offers? How hard would it be to add a camera (like the spycam) if I bought just a sub (say the one from megadeth)?

is it hard to replace the receiver/transmitter with a cable? is it all very integrated in the sub? I have electronic background, but haven't done any projects in 5+ years.

thanks for any info
Marek

RE: sub + camera

I don't know what megatech sub you are talking about but I don't think that there are any RTR subs with camera system already installed on the market..... What you could do is purchase each item separately, then find a way to combine them together. Radio communication would cause a limit to depth so maybe you can build a ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) like those ones shown on the National Geographic shows. Visit this site:

Good spying!
