is there a Demo out for it yet? I loved the first...second was OK. I played Aces of the Deep way back when..... a good sub sim goes along way.......

I have played it. It was my first sub sim, but could not resist it, it kept calling my name at the store. Very enjoyable, and appears pretty realistic. It is certainly challenging. I wish there was an option to bring the Weapons Officer up on charges...that ******* couldn't hit the side of a banr with a torpedo...:D He needs more training.
I have played it several hours and I really enjoy it.

I have been playing SH3 for a couple of months now. I've added tons of patches... exterior sub detail, plotting tools, improved explosions, better moon and skies, uniform changes, even new music for the Gramophone. I am obsessed! It is the best Sim I've ever played.

Does the patch help with the flashing black triangle you see in front of the sub occasionally, or is it just my video card? I am running a really good video card (can't remember the name) and the graphics are awesome, but occasionally I get a flicker on the external view when looking forward of the bridge.

BTW I love to cripple the freighters then use the deck gun on 'em, I am a malicous b@$t@rd[&:]
Of course I've been rammed before too, so they are not the inccocent sheep they pretend to be..LOL

Hi, I'm running the ATI 7something or 9something with 256mgs of video ram, 3.4 Ghz processor and 2 gigs of RAM. It runs really well, occasional glitch here and there but all the extra patches I'm running cause that. The game is really good, once You get the hang of it. I use the German voices with English subtitles. I've wasted endless hours on it. I ran into a convoy a little while ago, torpedoed the two escorts then surfaced and have sunk five merchants with the deck gun(shooting fish in a barrel with out the escorts). Had to take a break. It really is engrossing.
