nuculer power core.

If you use an electric heater to boil the water to power a turbine,
It can run the sub. But... The water will have to be heated B4 running the sub,
and the energy will not be as effitiant to use compared to the electric motor BUT...
I would be realistic..... Any thoughts?

Congratulations...you've just invented steam power! Now, I've got to get back to work on my invention. It'll be called the "internal combustion engine" pretty catchy, huh?

Heh heh. My wife has an uncle who qualified to command a submarine back in the 50's. Did nuclear research postgraduate for the Navy.

And he says "nuclear" about like you spelled it.

To put uranium and a radon generator and radiation shielding AND the water depreasureizer (cooling rods) AND,AND,AND.....!
It would be hard to put a real nuke reactor inside.
