Rocket Prototype complete, Ready for testing!

Hey guys,

My rocket prototype is complete and so is the launcher and the
rocket barge. I made a "Movie" on how to build it it but I can't figure out a way to
send it to you unless you E-Mail me for it so I'll just tell you.
I't litteraly a rocket motor with a cool body.
I'll try to sent a pic once my computer uploads from my camera.
I Have not yet tested it, It has NO GUIDENCE SYSTEM whatsoever so It could go
flying everywhere. :D

P.S. If you want the movie, E-Mail me.
Although It may take me a few days to send it.

Uh-Oh,Incoming!

Looks like a dressed up Estes type rocket motor to me. You going to get this to fire from a submarine, without the rocket flooding and failing to fire, without going of course and hurting some one, buring a hole in your sub, upseting the trim and changing the centre of gravity of you sub so its uncontrolable afterwards?? Anyway looking forward to the test, your attempting to fire the rocket underwater right? It should be fun:)

RE: Rocket Prototype complete, Ready for testing!

First, I'm going to fire it on the surface, Then I'll build another one for submerged launch.
Right now I have a surface barge to launch it with.
A submerged one Will need PVC pipe tube and I have another rocket ready
for testing. It's longer than the other. The other is 6 in or so, This new one's 9+-.

Testing COMPLETE!!!!:D:D
The rocket launched and as predicted... Flew everyware
and hit the roof of our dock. :D Two more missles are under construction
one has a guidence system, the other has a warhead that explodes
when you reach maximum altitude. Airplanes, Watch out![>:]

Make a rocket 2 fit round a mini rocket motor also attach some stabalising fins to them! made out of brass or balsa ! and be cearfull with the warhead i made one like that apart from mine detenated on impact it hit a tree and blew the top half of the tree off BE CEARFULL when you launch them from your sub encase them in a brass tube! Or they will melt your sub can you say my models a smoking smelling melting heap of plastic
anyway GOOD LUCK you'll need it! :) Hope it works for you and i hope i helped!
Always here 2 help :)

Subhunter,

You need to calm down buddy, or else your going to seriously hurt some poor person or persons around you, and yourself' thats not to mention the chance of damaging property, setting fire to someones house, car etc etc the list goes on and on.

I can see your full of ideas etc but your taking chances and risks that can easily affect you and other people for the rest of your life. This is probably the furthest thing from your mind at the moment but you need to stop and think " what if "

I seen a guy once who was flying his airplane near a motorway, lost control and landed on the grass just a few feet from 70mph traffic, i heard the screech of tyres, the stupid guy could easily have caused a multi car accident and people being killed or maimed.

Have a search on google im sure there are photos of people who have been hurt by fireworks, those rockets you are using are no different from fireworks.

Wise up !!

Wolf,

Let the kid dream, if he still wants to pursue his ideas... he'll learn it the hard way eventually.

We've done enough.

My rocket program is winding down anyway.
I've got a new Idea. I'll post a forum on it once it's complete.
Your advice has been good. Thanx,
Now If you'll excuse me, I've got a boat to blow up.
(just kidding):D;)
