Metal parts for Tamiya Leopard 2 A6. Where?
Preferably here in the US, who carries metal swing arms? Is the metal Idler tension adjuster set recommended?
Sealed teflon bearings preferred?
Torsion bar mounting bracket set?
Bogey wheel set?
The above are found at AFV-model. Unfortunately they are overseas.

When you start talking about the LEO your getting into a pretty exclusive club. Not many people own them so even less suppliers carry up grade parts for them. Most sellers don't even stock the LEO they order them per customer.

Mitosal seems to have fairly decent prices and fair shipping costs.
The euro and pound exchange rates are a bit too high. (AFV and Tankzone)
I really like that Bogey wheel set. Looks amazing, but costly.

RE: Metal parts for Tamiya Leopard 2 A6. Where?
Hello,
I'm working on the Tamiya Leo 2A6, and have had good luck with Mitosal. I ordered the metal arms and idler adjustment, and was pleased with the service. I received friendly emails, and was pleased with the delivery speed, cost, and shipping. Some say the shipping is too high, but I was happy.
In contrast to Mitosal, I ordered a mirror set and metal idler wheels from TankZone back in July, and am still waiting for the idlers. I received the mirror set fast, but keep getting delayed on the idler wheels. I'm ready to ask for a refund on the wheels. I won't do business with them again. Their communication is poor. An email with the status of my order would have kept me as a customer.
I also ordered metal tracks and the radio from Hobby Summit in Hong Kong via Ebay, and was pleased. "Manheader" was great to deal with, and was fast and courteous in his emails.
So, there's my experience in parts for the Leo.
Good luck,
Howie

Welshdragon models has the arems and wheels. I dont thinl they are the metal wheels but do have bearings in them. His prices are spot on and shipping can't be beat

I finally mailed out payment for the Leopard to Dave( Dave4what), but I haven't been able to get ahold of him via e-mail or telephone and his e-bay store is empty now. Should I worry?

I think someone said Dave was on vacation and he is working on getting his web site up. I wouldn't worry yet. You are going to find in this hobby some sellers are a one man operation, so communication may be a little slower than others. But Tankzone who is a large company is no better.

Couldn't find any suspension arms on Ebay. Mitosal is likely to get my business for now.
Dave called me back! [8D]
Now to find a relatively inexpensive air brush kit, paint and accessories.

Just got a set of metal suspension arms and the idler upgrade kit from mitosal took about 5 working days to Australia. Idler updrade doesn't have destructions but a quick look suggests that it doesn't seem to complicated to muddle through time will tell though I got my kit from "manheader" off ebay and was great to deal with thinking about getting the hop - up gun barrel and gun leveler kit from him when i get a bit further into my build
