HL Jagdpanther with BB gun side traverse
Hi all,
Thought Iwould post this modification I am doing to the HL Jagdpanther.
I have installed a 128:1 motor and gearbox with a sprung link rod to the side of the BB gun housing.
I have also cut out the trunion support so that the gun can move sideways and sort of slide back under traverse.
The motor is connected to the turret traverse points off of the board connector.
It works a treat and looks cool. Obviously, the gun movement cycles and rides up the elevation cam as it moves - depending on where the cam is but this sort of adds to the effect.
A very simple mod to do. A HL gun elevation motor would work just as well.
Can't seem to post pickies at the moment. I'll try again later.
I'll post the finished Jagdpanther soon, as it is getting a full makeover.

I did one a wile back with an old servo and some aluminum glued to the back of the gun. The aluminum keeps the barrel at the same elevation when you traverse it.
