Default Monday is Valentine's Day............

............what's so special about a Valentine tank that it gets a special day? Nobody even makes an R/C model of one. Why isn't there a Panther Day? And a T 34 Day? And a Sherman Day? Am I missing something here? I'm just gonna hug my Pershing and buy it a box of chocolate.

I am taking my tank out to dinner. God I hope my wife doesn't read this, she'll think I am calling her a tank

Tell me about it. It's a conspiracy among women of the world and by those toreceive actualgifts other than socks and ties. But it's okay, even in the state they are in, they still get one on one time with big daddy.

I like the looks of it too. I'm surprised that there were eleven versions of it. It was more popular than I thought.

Golly.............I am so forgetful............ I just remembered why St. Valentine's Day is so important.

Al Capone got rid of his competition in that Chicago garage! How could I forget about that?

"The St. Valentine's Day Massacre" was one of my favotite movies, growing up. I always thought that Bruce Dern was the best at playing sleazy bad guys, and found it very satisfying to see a movie where he gets it. (Man - is that jaded or what? In that movie, he wasn't even much of a dirtbag).

I took the wife and kids out to dinner last night for Vallentines Day. I knew enough to keep my tank activities for the day at a minimum while she was home. During dinner l did tell her that I was going to Danville on the first weekend in March for a battle-weekend. It was dirty pool on my part as she was happy and vulnerable due to the dazzle of the dinner and the gifts. She rolled her eyes and voiced no opposition. I have not missed a battle-weekend in five years or so. I guess she realizes but now that "All resistance is futile". I think the kids will miss this event but they will be there for the Extravaganza, which they love to see. She has met all the guys there and understands why it is so appealing.
