Default Feifel Air Cleaners Hose Color?

I am looking for comments on the color of hoses on these.

i.e. natural color (assuming they were a rubber type material), yellow, over-sprayed with the other camo colors........etc.

At least to me, they look like they may be corrugated steel. I could be wrong, though.

Great picture, thanks

They do look like some sort of metal hose, I guess that would make sense from a durability/flammable viewpoint.

We use corrogated stainless steel hose at work, sometimes; it is used for higher pressure and that, along with being made by more modern processes, means it is a bit different thant the Feifel hose.

Assuming they are metal, I would expect that they would likely be painted.

Excellent photo. Interesting that the hose just behind the first one appears to be a different design with tighter spirals of inner coiling. Or is it an optical illusion. Looks similar to to the older pre-plastic ducting you see on cars with a thin, almost tinfoil-like covering over an inner winding of wire.

Mike.
