Very interesting and a great looking tank. Rubber track pads and US style tail lights are confusing, but the basic chassis and center driver position are equally confusing. Start sign is in English....Could this be a Romanian R85? Maybe Bovington?[&:][X(][:-].

Whew! I thought the geniuses at Bovington struck again like they did to that poor Panther tank.

so what was the reason for the paint job? enquiring minds want to know...
The paint job is meant to make the enemy think it is a Leopard, so that they will be afraid, and run home.

Some other stuff from the Steel Parade.
Hetzers, Bridgging tanks, old tanks, it looks like a fun parade.
What is the tank in the last picture? I havent found that one yet.

so, like maybe this is original Snow leopard??[X(][:@] Catch that HL
Nice that somebody got it.. Very unusal design and looks like a well thought out layout. Driver looks cramped and obviously has an auto loader, which in itself from field reports on many designs, is not good. But, Swiss have come up with some very nice vehicles. All that engineering to shoot holes in cheese...

I can tell the driver is cramped, in the cheeta' one he looks like an old guy with a beard, but PC, how can you tell it is an auto loader?
You see things I'm missing.

RE: Tank ID challenge!
Well...
It has fuel drum racks on the rear, that characteristic' gap between first & second roadwheels, the dimple-reinforced front fender/mudflaps, the turret hatches, what looks like a DSHK 12.7mm (or a close cousin)... and its old enough to be using composite armor 'blocks' on the turret (supposedly called 'brow armor'). and finally chalk up the Soviet-style tankers 'headgear'...
I'd guess a T55 variant. [link=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3a/T-55AM2.JPG]This T55AM block-armor[/link] in Sofia is VERY similar, as is [link=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/de/T-55AM2B_at_Panzermuseum_Munster.jpg]this T55AM2B[/link] at Panzermuseum Munster (especially matching that 'laser rangefinder' atop the main gun, and the odd side-fender "flaps")
Czechoslovakia made/use: T-55AM2
- T-55AM1 fitted with the passive BDD appliqué armour for turret (horseshoe shape) and hull front (fitted to upper glacis plate), sideplates fitted with extensions protecting catwalk fuel tanks, the improved V-55U engine with an integral supercharger delivering 620 hp and the R-173P radio system. The BDD armour panels consist of armoured steel boxes filled with Penpolyurethane. In addition there are cavities which can be filled with water or sand for additional protection. There is also a cluster of 8 smoke-grenade launchers on the right-hand-side of turret. T-55AM2 is fitted with additional headlights on the front fenders. (so notes Wikipedia)
yes?

I think you are right, some sort of T-55 with Swiss flavor.
Then is this one British?

RE: Tank ID challenge!
turret design, position of TC and gunner...similar setup as t-72 but gunner has a larger hatch May be mistaken, as the range finder ears are below and ahead of the TC, like the M-47/48, but that turret design is awfully cramped and I really can't see ready rack space.

It needs more guns to be any fun........The thing that I don't like about it is all of those gas cans that aren't bullet proof.
