I added recoil and repainted a Tamiya Sherman with a Mato Upper half. THis is powered by an RX 18. Waiting on a Benedini sound card to improve the sound.

Thanks Joe.
Here is some video showing how the RX 18 does when mated up to Tamiya gears.

Nice looking tank YHR, by chance do you have a female dog?

Yes , two of them.
The yellow spots on the lawn look familiar although I had to put my beautiful shepard down last year, she was only 12 and I really miss her.

I know how you feel, Tom. We lost 3 of our elders in the last 3 years, including poor old Lyalya, who could not walk for 5 years before she left us. I, too, have found that when the boys are in the yard, which is rare, their territory markings disturb nothing. The girls, however, of whom we have 6, will brown out the grass instantly. Interesting. Needless to say, the girls aren't allowed in the lawn area either without supervision. The herd has enough space of their own to do their business without turning the lawn in to Leopard cammo...LOL.

One Dog is 15 the other is 14. I will miss them when they are gone, but have decided that it is time to give living dogless a try. I have had a dog of one kind of another since I was 6 so the transistion will not be easy. Children are moving out, dogs will be gone, mother and I can then have the freedom to travel a bit. I hope she enjoys Virginia.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

We have quite a herd, as VCO raises show collies. Manya and Melik, brothers, are the oldest at 8. Then we have Zychkya, Allesya, and Plushya, sisters, at 5. Katya and Sophia are almost 3, and Aliksander and Eloise are 9 months. The two older boys work security in the compound at night, and are trained to attack silently. Collies as watch dogs, you ask? For starters, the two boys are the biggest collies you will ever see, both standing on their hind legs are taller than VCO, and can clear a 2 m wall with no problems. Plus, collies are not used in the Army here because they will attack from the side or rear, and always go for the back of the neck. Something genetic I think. Aliksander, who is Melik and Plushya's son, is as big as his father and is not done growing.

I have a Border Collie Black lab cross. She has been an exceptional dog, and a constant companion to my Children. At 14 she is getting pretty old. Quite sad just thinking about the reality of what I am about to face very soon.

RE: Rosie 76mm HVSS
You never know. Our old Champion, 4 times Champion of Ukraine, Matyusha, lived to 18. Poor old Lyalya, his wife, lived to 16, and the last 7 she could not walk. For 5 years VCO (who weighs 45 kilos soaking wet with a brick in each pocket) carried that 25 kilo dog down and up 5 flights of stairs 3 times a day, rain, snow, or shine, to 'walk' outside the flat. The last two we were in the new house, so life was easier for both of them. Lyalya could spend the good days outside with the younger dogs, and to her last day she always enjoyed the yard and flower garden. We knew the end was coming when all the dogs, boys and girls, would gather around her when we took her to the flower garden, and just lay there silently with her. We laid her to rest beside Matyusha, high on a hill overlooking the Sea, in a secluded glen few people go to or know of. VCO strewed hundreds of Morning Glory seeds there (that was Lyalya's favorite) and the entire knoll is now covered with Morning Glory. But, she lives on. Manya and Melik are her and Matyusha's sons, and the 3 yellow girls are her nieces. Aliksander and Eloise are her grandchildren by Melik.

RE: Rosie 76mm HVSS
Thanks Bob. I am kind of out to show that the $25.00 RX18 is a pretty solid ESC when it is mated with some decent gears. Sounds like crap, but if you use it just for the ESC then there is nothing really wrong with it anymore It can handle my Metal Tiger, and I've shown it driving this Sherman in some thick grass. Thick enough you can hear the Tamiya tracks trying to come off a couple of times.
Now if someone could figure out what wire trace needs to be cut to eliminate that horrible HL clicking soundtrack that is supposed to represent what I am not sure. The generic engine start up, machine gun and cannon fire I could live with, it is that clicking that destroys the expereince.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll try a couple in the training hacks, the ones used for driver's ed. I always thought (not having experience with HL beyond the Rx14's) that their boards were too weak to pull a full up Tamiya. Of course, the sound system does live a little to be desired.....
