ug can be great fun with the 105mm berp gun and gold shells. Same with the Sherman and Pz4. You can one shot a lot of the lower tiers. Last night in clan wars I one shot an IS-7 with my Object 268 TD. Ammmoracked him. It was awesome.

I've been playing WOT for long enough to know a few tricks (learned from other players).
I use a tier 8 premium tank (a Type 59) to do all my credit farming to afford all the high tier tanks (they start to get expensive at about Tier 8).
Grinding up through the tiers just doesn't produce enough cash to upgrade when the experience has been earned. The Type makes me on average 30k credits per loss, and 65k for the average win. Others make claim to make more...and maybe so, but that's them...not me. The Type is difficult to get, as it goes on sale in the gift shop very seldom. Luckily, WOT has many more options available to take our money, and there are usually 3 or 4 Tier 8 premium tanks on sale at any given time. Consider your play style when choosing one and get a premium that allows you to play your game. You'll be spending alot of time with it, so get one you really enjoy.
"How did some of you have so many tanks in garage ? do you buy them ?"
Two ways I get tanks. 1. Buy them, either for in game credits, or a premium tank with gold; or 2. They were given to me, either by the game (they have given away several tanks (usually low tier) as a reward to all players or as a gift. Most recent was a free tank (a T1E6 along with a free garage slot) on 24 December that all players in the game (NA server at least) received). One may also receive a tank as a gift from another person (tank is purchased in the gift shop and given as a gift). Either way, it fills the stable.
"I've got my tiger 2 and im having no luck" The Tiger II is weak until you get the biggest gun...the 10.5cm L68. Big gun, plus vents, rammer and binos...then...it becomes a real smitemeister. Lay back, snipe, and watch the pain.
Same goes for the E-75 above it. Big gun=butt kicker.
FYI, my in game id is "ac498"

So far I have all but the Soviet arty and the obj 268. For me the best of the line was the 34-85, 44, IS3 and the ST1.
On the American side the t71, m26 and m48. I like the m12 arty since it isn't a tier ten only arty.

Got the first 105mm for the king tiger, second one is sadly a way off. What I wouldn't give to have my old account with the Lowe and E-75 on back.

I got the t57 American heavy auto loader. That tank hands out 4-6k in dmg every game. Nothing like 4 120mm rounds in 20secs to ruin your day.

It's like listening to another language here but I'm glad some fun is being had.
I was never any good at on-line games.
Now Asteroids, I killed in! But that was in the 80's

hehe actually, people call World of tanks the slow shooter game....because you dont have to be as fast than other games like black ops 2 and stuff like this...that's why I like it so much...my reflexes arent that good

I find World of Tanks much different than Asteroids or Space invaders. It is not a full on simulator but there are many aspects of armoring/ballistics/tactics and teamwork. All tank oriented stuff. Add to that the hundreds of tanks you can get. Everything from historical masters to paper panzers.
I enjoy aspects of tank combat and this game takes many of them into account. I find joy in the tangibilities of RC models but they are completely lacking in just about all aspects of combat. With the exception of airsoft paintball battleing where aim and ballistics are roughly anagolous.
I have been playing a lot of the game lately. This is the only online game I play, the others don't interest me so much. Red Orchestra was OK but that seems like 10 years ago. I have trouble finding people in general that are interested in tanks. With this game, I can be online with 30,000 of them at once.

I used to play World of Warcraft, I was never into the role playing games, but once I played that I was hooked. Played for a few years but have moved on from that (plus it was $15 a month). Now I do play world of tanks pretty much late at night when the boy is asleep. I love my T29,T59 and my stug
