Recommend a good PE bender for 1/16?
Most of you have at one time bent PE and I have gotten by without it on the small stuff here with pliers, but now I have some fairly long runs that I need to bend on the IMPACT PE sheets for the Panther. I know what would work in the smaller scales but don't want to go there, so I just need some suggestions on what everyone uses for our scale of work so I can get one on the way.

I've heard a lot of good things on the modeling forums I frequent about the ones they sell here. They have them in several sizes, too.

Jeff
This is the one I have found to work the best, have had a couple and like the size of this one, The small shop is the place I bought mine from and now I think Bob at ETO sells them.

Yep, buy it from sevoblast. His price is just as good and he is a heck of a nice guy and always willing to help with modelling questions. Gotta keep it all in the family man

It's 51/2" long by 3" wide and the blade sitting on top to aid in the bending is 5" wide, very well made tool.

Thanks, 5" of working space would work for me. So the small blades or edges are for detail bends and the 5" blade or edge is for the long bends, maybe fenders on a Tiger I or II?

Yes that's what I used for my Tiger II build also a rolling machine that was very handy. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_70...11/key_/tm.htm

Thanks, Gary
Does the rolling machine adjust or is it the way you roll the part through it? I will be doing a Tiger II at some point and that would really work for me as well on those pesky front fenders. I am going to get one of the bending machines for sure. Have a Impact PE set for the Tamiya Panther G that will be less daunting a task with the bending machine!!! Thanks for sharing.
